A REDESIGN OF THE VANCOUVER MARITIME MUSEUM

What is the role of heritage and preservation in an age of fast media? And what is considered worthy of preservation and what is not? This project aims to prioritize the preservation and consideration of the natural environment, thus the entire site- rather than only the buildings- is the museum. As the climate changes, so does the site: the design is both responsive to this change and a silent observer.
